Popular Artist and Best Selling Album

When an artist infiltrates several platforms of entertainment all at once: a tribute from Glee on TV, a movie on the big screen, and re-releases an album, it cannot go un-recognized!

Justin Bieber is a pop and R&B global sensation. His album My World 2.0 is still ranked #8 on the Billboard charts. More importantly, alongside his new movie he also recently released the Never Say Never: The Remixes album, which is #1 on the Billboard charts! Can this kid be any bigger [not literally]!

This new album Never Say Never: The Remixes includes one of the most impressive lists of featured artists on a single album. Collaborating artists include Usher, Rascal Flatts, Chris Brown, Kanye West, and Miley Cyrus. This album seems to stretch across all genres of music.

His fans are some of the most loyal yet. The Bieber army consists primarily of tween girls that pledge themselves as “Beliebers,” and rightfully so. Within just a year in the grueling music industry, Justin Bieber fought for the top spot and got it. He is the first artist since Garth Brooks in 1993 to have four albums featured on the BillBoard at once!

Watch out world, Bieber fever is a epidemic!

Revolutionary Music

King of Rock-n-Roll: Elvis Presley

King of Pop: Michael Jackson

Queen of Pop: Madonna

However, groundbreaking artists are still being born (this way).

Hang tight to your crown Madonna, Lady Gaga has revolutionized music. Her outrageous outfits and bizarre behavior may not be your cup of tea—but she still has a loyal fan base of little monsters. You may take her provocative nature as overwhelming, but she is undeniably an influence over the industry. In just over three years, her career has sky rocketed and changed music forever.

Her achievements  include Grammy’s, Guinness World Records, 2010’s Artist of the Year from Billboard, Time Magazine. Gaga made the Forbes  list of 100 of the most influential people in the world, and also ranks 7 on the annual Forbes World’s 100 Most Powerful Women.

Love her or hate her, the music industry embraces her!

Music Videos – Vodpod

If you like music videos here is another place that you can see them. No longer do you need to search on Youtube and get music videos that don’t work, or have been banned, or is just a picture with the song. or is a remake.

But now with vodpod you can see a bunch of  “Legit” music videos. They are organized by pop, hip hop, rock, electronic, country, indie rock, and classic rock. Of course you can search by artist too.

Vodpod also has tons of other videos that you can watch too. The only problem I can see with vodpod is that it is addicting…

Vodpod is also available for your Android and Iphone so you can listen to your feeds on the go.

Vodpod is actually  a really simple and straight forward site. To keep it simple this is what vodpod says to describe itself…

Our Mission

We love computers. But only people can decide if a video is good, funny, beautiful, sad, or interesting. Our goal is to make Vodpod the best way for people to find & share the best videos from any site, with anyone, on any device.

Go and watch videos here.
